We are the resource for small business. Our Acton office has been open for 20 years and we have just recently opened an office in Cambridge. Our staff, two receptionists and two subcontractors becomes your staff - that’s the kind of relationship we build. We all have been there and understand your problems.

BOB YOUNG Bob, the founder and original owner, started his practice in Acton in 1989. A few years later one of his daughters did some bookkeeping at her home in Erin. After two grandchildren arrived Bob knew it was time to open an office in Erin for a peroid of time although these clients are now served from our Acton location. As well, Bob, and his wife Janet, moved to Cambridge in 1994 and the inevitable happened. Another office was open from their home.

Bob, after many years in the financial services industry, was in the management consulting field in Vancouver and then Toronto with a national firm. He then went to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) where he was on the Professional Staff in the Professional Development area. After a few years he left to represent them Internationally with continuing education. During this time he travelled extensively around the world.

During this same period he was continually asked by people to help with their small businesses and finally he decided that it was time to apply his knowledge and background to assist the small business owner.

Mr. Young passed away at his home in Ajijic Mexico on January 23rd, 2008, leaving his business in the capable hands of Nicole and Germain.

NICOLE LINDSAY-HOOPER Since 2005 Nicole has been working for Young Company Inc, from their Cambridge office. She has helped grow the company substantially through her dedication and boundless work ethic.

Nicole has 13 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience. In 1999 She graduated from Seneca College from their Accounting and Finance program. She holds her Six Sigma Green Belt and continues to upgrade her education with relevent courses and seminars. Nicole enjoys helping small businesses meet their full potential through accurate accounting and careful market planning.

Nicole is a Certified Consultant for MYOB, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting software. She also has extensive knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect and Visual Tax to name a few.

In her spare time Nicole enjoys playing with her two sons, Zachary and Jimmy. She also enjoys Thunder Car and Go Kart races.

GERMAIN LAJEUNESSE Germain's high mathematical aptitude and expertise in the preparation and analysis of all Business Reporting; Profit & Loss, Balance sheets, Budgets, Cash flow, etc. make him asset to Ireland, Young and Company.

Germain has completed numerous university courses in Business, Accounting and Economics at several different institutions.

With several years experience in the accounting and tax service field, Germain takes on the role(s) of Senior bookkeeper and Advanced personal and Corporate Taxation.
